So, I decided to look up if there are any Vineyard churches on the Big Island. There aren't. I then decided to write the pastors of the churches that are in Hawaii, but on other islands. This is what one of them wrote back...

Congratulations on the engagement. I am originally from Hilo but it has been way too long since I was last there. I have not heard of very many churches that I would recommend. There was a Church as while back called New Hope. It was a seeker sensitive type church. The pastor moved to Honolulu and started New Hope there. It is probably the youngest and largest church on the island (split among five geographic communties). I don't know if it still going in Hilo. Sorry I can't be of more help. However, if you are interested in being missionaries in Hilo we could talk more.
